about

After the cathartic detour of her previous release Menina dos Olhos, Carolina Serdeira comes back to samba-jazz with her more personal approach to the genre to date. A beautiful contemporary incarnation of the classic Brazilian rhythm, Pra Ver o Sol introduces a tasteful blend of textures taken from other genres.

The music aesthetics are clearly guided by the lyrics, which adress subjects such as spirituality, self-growth and finding peace and freedom in and through music. The sparse instrumentation and the well-balanced arrangements are not uncapable of reaching intense climax heights.

Along with a core team of long-term musical partners, Carolina Serdeira surrounded herself with some big names of Brazilian music for a world-class result.
